Amazing place.. food is absolutely fabulous, perfectly cooked and good quality ingredients, the service was so friendly and efficient and the surroundings were cosy and authentic. We will be back.

Again, superb! First lunch out in the garden, oysters were excellent, battered Haddock super tasty with home made tartare and my pie of the day to ‘die for’. Many thanks!

Visited for Sunday lunch. Scotch egg was just how I liked it and served beautifully. Roasts were plentiful and good quality ingredients

I’m staying here for 3 nights with my son, He suggested coming here, but we discovered it was a French night and I live in France! I have never had Cote de Boeuf as good as tonight’s.. I think the chef needs to show some of our chefs how to cook it! The pub was also beautiful. Thankyou, I’m sure he will be back soon, and I will come on my next visit..

Always have good things to say about this cosy and lovely little pub. We had a family meal here recently the food was very good quality can't recommend enough. The steaks here are delicious both the singular and sharing types definitely worth a try roast dinners are equally delicious. The staff were friendly and served us in a good timely fashion, as it was Sunday it was fairly busy. We were a party of 8 people so booked in advance we will definitely be returning again soon. Thank you all kindly Everyone

Great pub, great food. Partner had cheese pie and extra chips I had lamb rump. Cooked very nice and not too fatty. Both had puddings, choccy orange tart was lovely, very rich. Toffee sponge was lovely, prefer custard over ice cream though as that was only option. Still. Lovely food

Have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Service and food is excellent, both well above standard pub expectations. Good options for vegetarians and vegans which has been handy when I have come here in a group. Large garden area with shade. Additionally two free charge points for electric cars, so you can charge while you dine. UPDATE; like everywhere the charge points aren't free anymore.

Went for Easter Sunday lunch. We all had the Roast Sirloin of Beef. Yummy! I also had a pudding of Rhubarb Eton Mess and a cappuccino. I love rhubarb but it would have been better with more traditional berries. Not that I left anything. It was still scrumptious. It is also a dog friendly pub with a jar of dog biscuits by the entrance from the beer garden.
